The World's Neurochemistry Portal -maintained by the International Society for Neurochemistry
7-10 July 2010 Basic Medical Science Center of Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary
The purpose of this conference is to bring together leading experts and emerging young scientists interested in several aspects of brain energy metabolism. Lectures and discussions will cover latest developments in research related to cytosolic-mitochondrial interactions, oxidative stress, mitochondrial mechanisms, modulation and disturbances of brain energy metabolism. Traditionally, these meetings provide a forum for very lively and informative discussions after the talks and during free time and poster sessions. Student and fellow participation is strongly encouraged, and I hope that travel awards for a limited number of young scientists will be available. This meeting is supported by the ISN Conferences Committee. For more information, please visit the website.
