ISN is seeking outstanding young scientists to apply for this prestigious award!

These ISN awards recognize research achievements of young scientists running independent neurochemical research programmes.
Neurochemistry is considered in its broadest context within molecular and cellular neuroscience.
ELIGIBILTY & APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Up to two young scientists, 38 years of age or younger at the time of the proposal, may be given the ISN award consisting of an honorarium and paid trip to the joint meeting of the ISN-ASN, 20-24 April, 2013 in Cancun, Mexico where they will need to present a 30 minute lecture.
Candidates can be proposed either by the head of department or a senior scientist.
Nominating letter should be accompanied by a curriculum vitae (listing date of birth, degrees and years obtained, current and previous appointments, prizes, full list of publications and other relevant material), a short description (with references) of the research accomplishments of the candidate, and an abstract of the topic to be covered in the talk.
HOW TO APPLY

Step Two: After you login you will find the YSL application form in the submission menu on left. The YSL application form will collect general information and request that you upload, in PDF format, the following documents (How to convert MS Word Documents to PDF Documents?):
- A full curriculum vitae (listing date of birth, degrees and years obtained, current and previous appointments, prizes, full list of publications and other relevant material) Sample CV
- A short description (with references) of the research accomplishments of the candidate
- An abstract of the topic to be covered in the talk
- A nominating letter from the Head of Department or senior scientist stating why this candidate should be considered for this award
Step Tree: Submit the online form and then view the accuracy of the application. You will be able to edit it until the application process closes.
