Call for Young Investigator Colloquia Speakers:

 

DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS: APRIL 7th 2008

 

To increase the number of formal oral presentations from young investigators, there will be 12 to 16 Young Investigator Colloquia, for which we invite young scientists to apply as speakers. Speakers will receive a registration fee waiver and significant financial support in respect to their travel expenses and costs of accommodation.

The suggested topics can be found at the Congress website. Outstanding investigators in any area will be considered as speakers.

The Program Committee will select four speakers for each colloquium. Thirty minutes will be available for each contribution. Preference will be given to independent young investigators. The candidates should be either below 40 years of age or less than 10 years after PhD/MD. On the APPLICATION FORM, candidates should provide:

 

1.      Session title (either from the list or “unassigned”)

2.      The title of their contribution

3.      A one-page abstract

4.      A one-page CV

5.      List of publications during the last three years

Call for Symposia Topics – Application form

 

DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS: APRIL 7th 2008

 

Members and non-members are invited to make proposals for symposia detailing:

1. The topic
2. The Chairperson responsible
3. Four possible speakers, with very short CVs and a selection of a maximum of 5 publications for each speaker.
4. The reason why the topic of the symposium is important

The speakers can expect a registration fee waiver and significant financial support with respect to travel expenses and the costs of accommodation.


Call for Workshops TopicsApplication form

 

DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS: APRIL 7th 2008

 

In addition to the Symposia, Workshops will be held in the Joint ISN/ASPN Meeting. Workshops should not be mini-symposia, and exchange of ideas among the attendees is encouraged. They should focus on either new experimental approaches or controversial topics. Support will be provided to speakers. The applicants should send information detailing:

1. The topic
2. The responsible Chairperson
3. The reason why the topic of the workshop is important
4. A description of how the workshop will be run to meet the requirements



Call for Satellite Symposia Topics – Application form

 

DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS: APRIL 7th 2008

 

Those who are interested in organizing Satellite Symposia should submit a detailed description of the symposium with full scientific content and a list of speakers to enable the Program Committee to evaluate the proposal.
