According to Article 28B of the Articles of Association of the ISN every 4 years the Membership elects a new Treasurer. The procedures for nomination and election of candidates are the same as those for the election of Councillors

At the Business Meeting of ISN on August 24th, 2005 in Innsbruck the present Treasurer, Roger Butterworth, Canada, will end his four years' period as Treasurer and be succeeded by a new Treasurer to be elected in spring 2005. At the Business Meeting 2005 the present Treasurer, R. Butterworth, will become President of ISN for two years (Article 28 C and D). Thus far, for the period between the Business Meetings of 2005 and 2007 the ISN Officers will be as follows:

President: Roger Butterworth (Canada)
Secretary: Agustina Garcia (Spain)
Treasurer: to be elected

If one includes the present 3 Officers: A. Schousboe, R. Butterworth and A. Garcia, who till the year 2009 will successively have served as ISN Presidents, till the year 2009 the Presidents (Chairpersons) of ISN will have come from the following 9 countries:

According to Article 41 each suggestion of a candidate for Treasurer requires: i) the signatures of the nominated member, ii) the signatures of 1% of the number of Ordinary Members, i.e., 15 Ordinary Members (this normally would include the signatures of the proposing member). Please note that not more than one third of the supporting signatures should be from one country. It is suggested that the proposing member and/or the proposed candidate arrange for the supporting signatures to be sent in the following form by February 15, 2005, to the ISN Secretary.
