The APSN 6th Biennial Meeting

The 6th Biennial Meeting of the APSN took place successfully at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on 4th ~7th February 2004. Around 300 people from 25 countries, mostly from the Asian-Pacific region, attended. The program included three plenary lectures, ten symposia, eight young investigator colloquia and two technical forums. The young investigator colloquia were set to let young scientists from the Asian-Pacific region to talk about their work and were very successful with high quality of presentations.

During the period, the APSN council meeting was held. It has been decided by the council that the APSN 7th Biennial Meeting will take place in Singapore in 2006. Issues related to the restructuring of the APSN have also been discussed.
