Regional Workshop on
Genomics, Proteomics and Neurodegenerative Disorders

An APSN/ISN sponsored workshop on studying neurodegeneratvie and psychiatric disorders with genomics and proteomics techniques will take place in the 2nd week of August in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This workshop will particularly focus on using post-mortem brains. Techniques to be taught by faculties of the APSN will be immunocytochemistry, PCR, RT-PCR, receptor binding and DNA extraction and genotyping. It is anticipated 50 participants from Sri Lanka plus some from India will be attending.
