As an international society, we choose meeting locations throughout the world so as to enable the participation of the maximum number of neurochemists. Travel grants for young investigators to attend the meetings are available by application to Travel Award Committee . They are advertised in the ISN Newsletter and on the ISN Portal.
In 2004 the ISN began a series of Special Neurochemistry Conferences focused on important and timely neurochemical topics. The conferences are held in years alternating with the Biennial Meetings. The first one took place in Avignon, France in May 2005 and focused on Changes in neuronal gene expression and CNS drug responses. The second on Neural Glycomics and Lipidomics took place in Antigua, West Indies, on December 1-5, 2006. The third will be held in Beijing, 27th June - 1st July 2008, and focused on:Neurodegeneration and Regeneration.Beijing 2008 |
