Get to know the voices behind the conversations shaping the global neurochemistry community

Meet the hosts behind The Neurochemistry Podcast - two early-career scientists passionate about sharing the stories, challenges, and breakthroughs that shape our field. Through their conversations, they aim to bring a fresh, global perspective to neurochemistry, connecting researchers, ideas, and communities across disciplines and borders.

Dr. Nawon is a neuroscientist fascinated by how synapses are formed and reshaped during development. She is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the Watanabe group at Johns Hopkins University. Nawon co-hosts the ISN official Neurochemistry Podcast alongside William Sanchez.

Dr. William is a postdoctoral researcher at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIH-NIDA), where he studies dopamine dynamics and the neurochemical circuits behind motivation and addiction. His work combines behavioral neuroscience with techniques like fiber photometry and voltammetry.
