Sister societies

Introduction

ISN has a very well established and highly productive relationship and a strategic partnership with three international Sister Societies which represent the Americas (American Society for Neurochemistry, ASN), the Asian-Pacific region (Asian-Pacific Society for Neurochemistry, APSN) or Europe (European Society for Neurochemistry, ESN). All these societies are not-for-profit organizations, and their members are scientists and physicians who are active in the field of neurochemistry, cellular and molecular neuroscience or related areas. The international neurochemistry societies have the common aim to promote education and research in neurochemistry. One example for the strong partnership between ISN and its Sister Societies are the biennial ISN conferences that are always co-hosted by the regional Sister Society. ISN financially supports the conferences of the Sister Societies and is offering for active members of the Sister Societies an ISN membership waiver.
