The ESN Young Scientist Lectureship Award (YSLA) recognizes outstanding achievements in neurochemistry research of young ESN members. Candidates of 38 years of age or younger at the submission deadline should be based in a European country and/or should have obtained most of their outstanding achievements in European research groups. The ESN award consists of free meeting registration and accommodation, and financial support towards travel costs to Milan (economy class) to attend the 23rd ESN Biennial Meeting/7th Conference on Molecular Mechanisms of Regulation in the Nervous System to be held on September 1-4, 2019. The awardee(s) will present a 30 minute lecture and receive the YSLA medal at the dedicated session during the meeting.

Candidates can be proposed by any ESN member. Nominating letters should be accompanied by a curriculum vitae, a short description (with literature references) of the research accomplishments of the candidate and a brief outline of the candidate’s profile that would be announced at the award presentation. The awardee(s) will then be required to register and submit the abstract of their talk on-line at the ESN meeting site.

Proposals should be sent preferably by electronic mail before February 28, 2019 to the Secretary of the ESN, Natalia Nalivaeva (n.n.nalivaeva@leeds.ac.uk).
